Arrival & Dismissal Procedures
Supervision of Students
It has come to our attention that many of our students arrive to school prior to 8:15 a.m. Florida Statue 1003.31 requires that the school system provides supervision for students 30 minutes before the school day begins and 30 minutes after the school day ends. Our official school start time is 8:45 a.m. and our dismissal time is 3:00 p.m. and 2:00 pm on Wednesdays. Students should not arrive to school prior to 8:15 a.m. The safety of students represents the primary concern. Our goal is to ensure that all of our students arrive and leave school safely and that adequate supervision is available during their arrival and departure. Thank you for your cooperation in playing your role to help our school team provide a safe and positive learning environment for all students.

To all Parents:

Please DO NOT arrive to pick up your child before 3:00 PM. on M, T, R, F and before 2:00 PM on Wed.

All car riders will be held in the cafeteria until your car pulls up. Students will be escorted to your car.

Any walkers will meet parents in front of the school at the covered walker’s bench.

Siblings will meet up at the designated dismissal spot. Students may not go to the classroom to pick up siblings.

A parent needs to send a note to the teacher for any change of dismissal.
Please try to schedule appointments for your child after dismissal. If you need your child released early, please send a note to the teacher, and pick up student before 2:30 PM (1:30 PM on Wednesday). Students SHOULD NOT be signed out of the office after 2:30 PM (1:30 PM on Wednesday).
Safety and an orderly dismissal are the primary concerns we expect all adults to assist our school. Thank you.
